On the Mend (healing salve)

from $14.00

I frequently get messages from people asking if I have something to help them. Mostly recently, I had a woman ask if I had anything to help shrink lipomas (fatty tumors). I looked into what I had and what I found was chickweed, dandelion root, neem oil and a variety of essential oils are excellent at getting this job done. Read on to see exactly what these herbs, oils and essential oils can do

Chickweed (Stellaria media) is edible and nutritious often used in salads. In folk medicine, it’s used to help a variety of ailments including respiratory, eczema, psoriasis and for this salve it’s used to dissolve fat.

Dandelion Root (Taraxacum officinale) isn’t just a weed that overgrows in your back yard. Dandelion green are full of nutrients like zinc, magnesium, calcium and potassium. The root is rich in inulin which maintain healthy gut bacteria. For this salve I’m taking advantage of its ability to fight inflammation and act as a diuretic

Neem oil - though not known for its pleasant odor...not going to lie guys, it smells like peanuts. Neem is an Indian herb used in cooking. It helps break down internal fat and many have praised it for its effect of treating lipoma.

I’ll add jojoba & hemp seed oil so the neem isn’t so potent

The essential oils I chose are tea tree, frankincense, clove, grapefruit and ginger which are all known to help dissolve lipomas. I’ll blend these with Shea butter, bees wax and melt them down for the salve.

This salve could help with shrinking lipomas, healing wounds, treating chapped skin, diaper rash, eczema, and psoriasis.

Made to order in small batches, available in 2 or 4 ounce tin
