Summer is here and that means new herbal infused body butters from Amara’s Herbal Alchemy. Last year my “tribe” members suggested several amazing scents then they voted on their favorite. These two tied so what else could I do but present you with two new scents!
Orange Creamsicles are a highlight of summer. Their cold, citrusy, creamy flavor are everything that summer is. I will blend tangerine and vanilla essential oils to make this summery blend.
Lemonade is another summer favorite and what makes it even more delish you ask?? Add a little lavender to the mix and you have a relaxing sweet and tart summer beverage. I will had a little lavender with lemon essential oils to this blend

Arnica is a genus of perennial, herbaceous plants in the sunflower family (Asteraceae). The genus name Arnica may be derived from the Greek arni, "lamb", in reference to the plants' soft, hairy leaves. Arnica is also known by the names mountain tobacco and confusingly, leopard's bane and wolfsbane—two names that it shares with the entirely unrelated genus Aconitum. Arnica is used topically for a wide range of conditions, including bruises, sprains, muscle aches, wound healing, superficial phlebitis, joint pain, inflammation from insect bites, and swelling from broken bones. More recent studies suggest it may also be helpful in the treatment of burns. People take arnica by mouth for sore mouth and throat, pain such as pain after surgery or wisdom tooth removal, insect bites, painful and swollen veins near the surface of the skin (superficial phlebitis), bruising, muscle pain, vision problems due to diabetes or stroke.

Amara’s Herbal Alchemy (formerly Amara’s Apothecary) came about when I was introduced to tinctures in early 2021. I’d been battling a mystery illness for a couple decades. I was finally diagnosed with Lyme and 3 coinfections. I was fortunate enough to be able to see a Lyme literate practitioner. He suggested herbal tinctures to help my symptoms. After starting these I was blown away by their power. I started to research how to make them to save myself some money and I fell into so many recipes and ideas for herbal infused items. This was when Amara’s Apothecary was born. I hope to bring this new found hope for good health to you all
